改编自山本直树的短篇漫画，以寂寥的温泉街为舞台，刻画了雕師邮递员·鹰巢明和性无能的寡言诗人「企鹅」，以及企鹅粉丝“月夜之星”三角关系的故事。。Birdcatcher Esmar and his wife Johanna face eviction from their farm in Gásadalur unless they have a son. Desperation sets in when Johanna gives birth to their third daughter. Pushed to the brink, Johanna is impregnated by another man, a French Captain, and gives birth to a son, known as ‘the birdcatcher’s son’. Everything seems perfect until the French Captain returns.。
