楚生跟随秦三爷在东北做白事行当，为各种各样的死者送葬发丧，在这过程中有很多古怪的丧葬奇闻出现，楚生作为职业白事人和前来探索奇闻的林记者一起走访民间，经历了一个又一个离奇诡异的民俗故事……。林星购买的黄金被发现是假货，维权时金店店长百般刁难，要求林星提供一系列荒谬证明，僵持之际，两名劫匪抢劫金店，混乱中林星与劫匪的背包被调换，林星误得金店的真黄金。金店发现黄金丢失后，上门索要，林星以其人之道还治其人之身，双方矛盾激化。。J.G.
