导演花了15年时间筹备，走访50个国家拍摄，由澳洲海底的大堡礁到非洲肯亚高原的乞力马扎罗山；亚玛逊热带雨林到戈壁沙漠；美国德萨斯州连绵不断的棉花田到中国上海的工业城镇。如诗如画的美景唤醒世人，乐观地珍视我们仍然保有的50％雨林，而非只着眼那失去的一半；更重要是地球60亿人类都应该醒觉，我们的责任所在……。真实的东西往往并不美，鸡汤绝不是这个世界的真相！这是一个生产力严重过剩的时代，书籍和知识大多数人弃若敝履，在繁荣的城市的边缘，有一个叫做黄金屋的没落书店和一个不怎么勤快的老板白丁（人称老白）。一只叫建国的熊猫来到书店应聘，此后，两个人之间发生了一系列啼笑皆非的故事。。A group of happy animal friends live in a beautiful big forest. One day, unusual things start to happen: the Owl has gone missing, and the river spills over and is getting closer to their homes. Led by the Fox and the Hare, the animals unite in search of their friend the Owl, to find out what is going on, and to save their homes…。
