因为家人工作的原因，原本生活在繁华大都市的鹤木阳渚（高尾奏音配音）搬到了风景秀美的乡下，并且进入了那里的学校就读。并不适应室外作业的阳渚本想加入学校的手工社团，哪知道在误打误撞之下遇见了名为黑岩悠希（筱原侑配音）的前辈，在前辈的威逼利诱之下，阳渚最终加入了悠希所在的海堤社。 个性大大咧咧，运动神经极为发达的帆高夏海（川井田夏海配音）、性格沉稳，尤其擅长烹饪的大野真（明坂聪美配音），再加上一个非常习惯恶搞社员，思维过于活跃和跳跃的社长悠希，阳渚充满了欢笑和汗水的课后部活就此拉开了序幕。。本片基于真实历史故事改编。1942年1月，日本战争机器的铁蹄席卷东南亚。在这里，有一个叫做新不列颠的岛屿上，有一座天主教传教站，这里的澳大利亚护士们克服种种困难的条件，悉心照顾手上的澳大利亚士兵。(文/life_is_good@YDY) January, 1942.
