They end up in a bizarre, unfulfilled love a...。钢琴教师何健生的父亲是一位著名的音乐教育家，曾培养出很多优秀的学生，可惜英年早逝。他继承父业后，痴迷于教学事业，把全部青春献给了酷爱的钢琴教学中，为此，他付出了高于常人的代价，妻子也离开了他。学生庄磊不被学校看好，面临淘汰，何健生却发现了他不被察觉的潜质，主动接手调教他，并独创了一套异于常人的教学方法。几年过后，庄磊在国际钢琴比赛中获奖并远赴美国深造，而此时已耗尽心血的何健生重病缠身，但他并没放弃教学。大洋彼岸的庄磊闻讯恩师患病，随即飞赴祖国，师生相见，万语千言不知从何说起。他当即决定为恩师做募捐演出，可生命已走到尽头的何健生闭上了双眼。。
